Texas A&M saw its disappointing 2018-19 season come to a close Thursday night with an 80-54 blowout loss to Mississippi State in the second round of the SEC tournament in Nashville.
The Aggies finish the season 14-18 overall in what is expected to be head coach Billy Kennedy's final year, according to the Houston Chronicle.

With Kennedy almost certainly on the way out, and A&M having to win out or make the tournament championship to make the postseason, there was little momentum for the depleted Aggies, who were at the bottom of the bracket to begin with.
