COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin on Tuesday disputed a rapper’s claim from last fall that Sumlin attended a Rick Ross party in Miami with quarterback Johnny Manziel, when Manziel was still a student at A&M.
“He was pretty much the life of the party for me,” rapper Stalley said on ESPN2 of Sumlin, about a January 2013 festivity surrounding the college football national championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame. “He was the one who made me be like, OK, it’s time to turn it up in here.”
Stalley added of the revelry, “On a scale of one to 10, I would say it was a 15.
