We informed you yesterday that Texas A&M would face FCS program Abilene Christian in 2023 and 2028. But don’t worry, stiffer competition is also on the horizon, as the Aggies’ 2025 schedule now also boasts home games with...Arkansas State and UT San Antonio. A&M will open the season against the Roadrunners on Aug. 30 and then host the Red Wolves on Sept. 6.
It’s good to see A&M finally showing some cojones in their non-conference scheduling. Not only are both of these FBS programs, but A&M will also look to avenge their dreadful 2008 loss to Arkansas State in the first game of the Mike Sherman era.
