Texas A&M has brought back their blackout uniforms over the past two season to an extremely popular reception by the fanbase. 2024's game against LSU was one of the most memorable yet of the Mike Elko era, not only for the blackout, but also the insertion of Marcel Reed at quarterback in the second half and the way the Aggies ran all over the Tigers after that point.
Even this year against Mississippi State was pretty notable, as the Aggies caught fire after struggling early on offense. The choice to deploy these uniforms against the Bulldogs was initially controversial, but it ended up working out pretty well for everyone.
