2017 Stats: Ineligible due to academics
Topping our list of Texas A&M's spring breakout candidates is cornerback Clifford Chattman.
After a promising freshman year in which he was a key special teams player, Chattman did not play last season due to academic reasons. He did, however, serve on scout teams, going head-up on the first team offense each week.
Now, Chattman has gotten his grades up, and will return to the field for the Aggies in 2018 and is in prime position to be one of the two starting cornerbacks.
