The Texas A&M football program has been in desperate need for a quarterback that can solidify the offense since the transfers of Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray. Both transferred from the program at the conclusion of the 2015 season. Trevor Knight, a transfer from Oklahoma, filled in well. However, Knight is a graduate student, make this season his only year of eligibility at A&M.
Coach Kevin Sumlin might have just found his man. Kellen Mond, the 6’3″ dual-threat quarterback out of IMG Academy, gave his commitment to the Aggies on June 27.
