Texas A&M football pulled off a major surprise when they got Christian Harris, a 4-star linebacker from Louisiana, to verbally commit back in August. It was widely expected he would commit to LSU or Alabama. Well, clearly he was still wavering because he backed off his commitment to A&M, committed to Alabama and closed his commitment, officially, despite saying he was “100 percent committed to Texas A&M”
There is no scenario in which I would ever blame a kid for committing to Alabama. There is currently no better place to play college football. To suggest otherwise would be folly.
