We may never get the Thanksgiving tilt between Texas and Texas A&M football back, and that is a damn shame.
For some reason, there are those who don’t want to continue the rivalry game that took place more than 100 times. I can certainly see the t-sip side of things. Why would they want to add another tough non-conference game to their schedule, one they would probably lose? Despite one decent season and beating a Georgia team that wanted nothing to do with the Sugar Bowl, Texas is not “back,” and A&M has consistently produced a better product on the field since leaving for the SEC.
