Texas A&M Football: Season Rewind – Trevor Knight

A graduate transfer from Oklahoma, Trevor Knight came into the program as Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen were on there way out. Knight led the Aggie offense in 2016.

He threw for 2,432 yards and 19 touchdowns with 7 interceptions. Knight was also third on the team in rushing, carrying the ball 102 times for 614 yards and 10 touchdowns.

After being replaced by Baker Mayfield, it was evident that Knight might not be quite be a Heisman caliber gunslinger. The Aggies didn’t need all-world, they just need a steady hand to get the ball to their play makers.
