Texas A&M Football: Season Rewind – Donovan Wilson

The junior nickelback was the only member of the A&M secondary to record at least one tackle in every game this season. Of his 55 total tackles, 5.5 of them were for a loss. He also had one sack, an interception, and two passes defended.

Recap

Wilson and Justin Evans had a knack for getting the ball on the ground and making hard, decleating hits. Although Wilson wasn’t credited with any fumble recoveries this year, his 5.5 tackles for loss were second most in the Aggie secondary.

Wilson drew praise for his tenacity and versatility from head coach Kevin Sumlin coming into this season.
