The month of June was a fantastic one for Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M football. They earned several verbal commitments from the class of 2019 and 2020, and both classes are currently ranked in the top five.
It started with what could be the prize of the 2019 class — 5-star offensive tackle Kenyon Green, No. 1 recruit in the state of Texas — committing in the beginning of the month. Several 3-star recruits would follow suit and by the end of the month the Aggies had 19 total commitments.
This week was setting up to be an important one, with several high profile recruits expected to announce their decision.
