Of all of the turnover happening on Texas A&M Football’s defense, perhaps no unit has more total experience than the linebackers.
Of the three starting linebackers, all three of juniors, with two being redshirt juniors. Between all three starters, there is a total of 13 years of experience.
Leading off the group is Buddy Johnson. Johnson played in 12 games last season, making 27 tackles, five tackles for a loss, and one fumble recovery. Entering his first season as a starter, Johnson will look to improve his already-high production even more as the lead linebacker.
