Jake Hubenak will always be remembered because he stayed. With the program in turmoil following the end of the 2015 regular season Hubenak did not waver in his commitment to Texas A&M football. Kyle Allen transferred. Kyler Murray transferred. Jake Hubenak started the Music City Bowl. He was the last guy left on the bench, but he rose to the occasion when his number was finally called.
Hubenak lost out on the starting job to redshirt freshman Nick Starkel at the beginning of the season.
