While Texas A&M Football will rely on their upperclassmen to make up most of the on-field production this season, a pair of freshmen are also expected to make a big impact for the Aggies in their debut seasons.
The Football Writers Association of America named their Preaseason Freshman All-America team watchlist on Friday, with two Aggies being among the 74 freshmen on the list. Those two freshmen were DeMarvin Leal and Kenyon Green.
Leal, a defensive end, is the top incoming recruit in the Aggies Class of 2019. A consensus top-10 recruit in the country, Leal is a dominant defensive end.
