Wide receiver was a major question mark heading into the 2018 season for Texas A&M football. The Ags lost their leading receiver Christian Kirk, who was selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and their best deep threat Damion Ratley, who was selected in the sixth round. It was remarkable how many of the returning receivers were sophomores, and even more so only one, Jhamon Ausbon, had meaningful playing time as a freshman.
Whether by redshirt, injury, or the depth chart, as many as seven sophomore receivers were coming into the 2018 season with a chance to become a real weapon in the Aggie offense with new head coach Jimbo Fisher.
