Heading into the week four matchup against Auburn, if there would be one thing to sum up the overall inconsistency of Texas A&M Football, it would be the play of quarterback Kellen Mond.
Mond threw an interception in each of the Aggies first three games, including games against teams such as Texas State and Lamar. The Aggies defense was able to lift them to a 2-1 start despite Mond’s struggles, which was a major area of concern heading into the Auburn game.
Miraculously, Mond looked very good against the Tigers, who shut down Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert in their week one win.
