Texas A&M Football: Jackson likely to never play again

Texas A&M Football has already faced a great deal of injuries in the short 2019 season to this point.

Unfortunately, those injury woes got even worse on Wednesday, when Jimbo Fisher announced some troubling news about running back Vernon Jackson.

That news was that Jackson, who had suffered a neck injury during Spring camp, would likely never play football again, and was already in the process of making the transition to a full-time student coach.

Jackson raised some eyebrows amongst the football program throughout the spring with his flashy play. In lieu of Trayveon Williams’ absence, Jackson had stepped up, also taking advantage of Jashaun Corbin missing most of spring camp with an injury.
