Texas A&M football has come in at the 19th spot in the initial AP Poll of the season, showing just how long of a road they have before they can get the kind of belief they deserve. The Aggies have a really solid team for the upcoming year, not to mention one of the most experienced in the nation, and under Mike Elko's tutelage, this will no doubt be an impressive, if not elite, squad.
The pollsters have yet to see that, of course, which is why they have the Aggies so low— far lower than most computer rankings have them.
