This is the last thing Texas A&M football fans wanted to hear. After losing one backup linebacker to transfer and another to injury, they have now lost a starting linebacker for the season with an injury.
Jimbo Fisher announced the Aggies will be without potential star linebacker Anthony Hines III for the rest of the year with a lower leg injury he suffered in the loss to Clemson. It is a major blow to the depth of the position, which was already thin to begin with.
Hines had taken over the rover linebacker spot in fall camp.
