While Texas A&M Football still has quite a bit of work to do within their 2020 recruiting class, the Aggies have already landed a big name to begin their 2021 recruiting class.
That name is Eli Stowers, a quarterback from Guyer High School in Denton, Texas.
Stowers is ranked as the fourth-best dual-threat quarterback in the Class of 2021 and the #24 recruit in the state of Texas. In-state recruiting is crucial for Jimbo Fisher as he gets a big local name in Stowers here.
Stowers had offers from Arizona State, Clemson, and Arkansas, as well as in-state rival Baylor.
