In Texas A&M Football‘s case, so-far so-good for the Aggies in terms of their placement in preseason rankings.
This time, it was the updated version of ESPN’s football power index (FPI), that seems to be fairly high on the Aggies, as the FPI has Texas A&M ranked at number eleven.
The FPI is not necessarily an active ranking, rather it is more of a predictive device. The FPI takes into account factors such as results, remaining games, projected wins, and more.
