Texas A&M football: Actually, tight end won’t be a problem in 2019

One of Kellen Mond’s favorite targets in the 2018 season was tight end Jace Sternberger. The pair’s ability to form such a strong connection in one offseason was crucial to Texas A&M football‘s success. Without it, the offense would not have been able to move the ball as effectively.

Jace quickly emerged as the go-to guy for Mond in big situations. His strong hands and crisp route running made it easy for Mond to find him for first downs. Sternberger wound up leading the team in every single major receiving statistic, including, surprisingly for a tight end, yards per catch.
