Texas A&M Football 50 in 50: Tight ends will improve Aggies ability to contend

Texas A&M football is going to undergo somewhat of a revolution when they take the field in 2018. For the past six years, Kevin Sumlin ran an up-tempo, aggressive spread offense.

That will not be the case at all with Jimbo Fisher.

In fact, his offensive philosophies are quite different than Sumlin’s in almost every way. The Aggies will be slower paced (A&M was the seventh fastest offense in the Power 5, while Florida State’s was 52nd out of 65 Power 5 teams under Fisher). They will use multiple running backs and a full back.
