The Texas A&M Football team did get a convincing win against Kent State in their Week 1 matchup, but not everything about the game was entirely convincing.
Particularly in the first half, Jimbo Fisher’s squad looked shaky, to say the last. Nobody would have been surprised to see a close game against a feisty Kent State team, but the fact that the Aggies couldn’t get going on offense was worrisome.
Any hopes for a Golden Flashes comeback were quickly stifled by a dominant third-quarter showing from Texas A&M, but some nagging worries remained.
