Since joining the SEC, the annual Southwest Classic between Texas A&M football and Arkansas has been a bit of a one-sided affair. The Aggies have won all but one matchup—the 2021 edition, where the Hogs triumphed 20-10. This series in recent history has been marked by Texas A&M either pulling out a close/improbable victory, like in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, and this past year, or—less commonly—blowing the doors off Arkansas, such as in 2012, 2013, 2016, and 2020.
Though this is the series in which the Aggies have been the most dominant since joining the conference—with the possible exception of South Carolina—there is a much longer history between the Aggies and Razorbacks than any other conference-mate of Texas A&M football.
