One Texas A&M recruit is attempting the leap of faith to create a superteam. One of Mike Elko biggest wins this cycle was when he was able to snag five-star cornerback Brandon Arrington away from Oregon, Alabama and USC. Arrington's commit was the sign of a strong Elko-led recruiting class to come for 2026 and onward.
Arrington dropped a cryptic message to fellow five-star, Lamar Brown. Brown committed to LSU in the summer, and is arguably the best defensive tackle in the nation. The No. 1 overall recruit was "50-50" between LSU and Texas A&M, but eventually chose Texas A&M.
