The news broke Wednesday morning that Texas A&M offensive coordinator Collin Klein would leave Aggieland to coach at his alma mater, Kansas State.
In Manhattan, Klein was a phenomenal quarterback and put himself in the Heisman trophy race with Johnny Manziel and Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o. It's not hard to understand why he would leave. Becoming a college football head coach at your alma mater is the goal. Until then, A&M fans still have something to root for.
Billy Liucci from TexAgs says Klein will stay to coach the team in the College Football Playoff.
