Recent Texas A&M defensive end signee Alton Robinson was arrested and charged with robbery Tuesday morning in the San Antonio area. KSAT-TV, the ABC affiliate in San Antonio, reported that Robinson appeared in front of a magistrate, who set bond at $20,000.
Robinson reportedly stole his ex-girlfriend’s purse as she returned home just shortly after 11 p.m. on February 9. She told authorities Robinson hid in the bushes, robbed her, then ran off. She told police something similar occurred in May 2015.
A Texas A&M spokesman told the station that the school “will gather all of the facts and make a decision at that time.
