Texas A&M DB Outlook for 2018: Can experienced unit limit big plays down field while returning key players?

Injuries and youth gave way to growing pains and big plays in the Texas A&M secondary in 2017.

And while the Aggies had a multitude of lineup changes that featured three true freshmen starters, the unit appears to be deep and talented for 2018.

Here is an outlook at the A&M secondary for next season:

Key Returnees: Derrick Tucker (S, sophomore, 55 tackles, 1 INT, 4 PBU), Charles Oliver (CB, junior, 24 tackles, 8 PBU), Donovan Wilson (S, senior, redshirted last season due to injury), Nick Harvey (CB, senior, redshirted last season due to injury), Clifford Chattman (CB, junior, ineligible last season for academics)

Key Losses: Armani Watts (graduation), Priest Willis (graduation)

Newcomers: Leon O'Neal Jr (S, 6-1, 190), Jordan Moore (CB, 5-11, 192), Brian Johnson (ATH, 6-2, 185)
