This weekend will mark Texas A&M baseball’s sixth SEC weekend of the year and a big opportunity to pick themselves up off the mat after struggling against Houston on Tuesday night. South Carolina (22-15, 4-11 SEC) enters the series having dropped each of their first five series. Those were against Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama and Florida.
For the Aggies, A&M loss to UH (4-1) when starter Chandler Jozwiak found himself trailing by one run after five pitches. The Cougars used a lead-off single and a double open the scoring. Four batters later, UH was up two and that would be all they needed to win the ball game.
