A huge weekend for No. 8 Texas A&M Baseball turned into an easy rout as the Aggies swept by Long Beach State over the weekend. The Aggies claimed three straight victories over the Dirtbags and improved to 16-1 overall and 14-0 at Olsen Field.
Logan Foster and Braden Shewmake continue to dominate at the plate as the Aggie pitching staff continue to shred opposing lineups. Let’s not sell the importance of this weekend short, Long Beach State won the Austin Regional last year and hosted a Super Regional. Given that, Texas A&M outscored the Dirtbags by a combined 27-3 this weekend as SEC Play begins next weekend.
