COLLEGE STATION, Texas --- Proof of Texas A&M Athletics’ commitment to success in the classroom and graduation was shown in the annual release of Academic Progress Rate (APR) data from the NCAA on Wednesday.
Texas A&M surpassed the required NCAA standard in all sports, and all 19 NCAA-sponsored athletics programs achieved a multi-year rate of 944 or higher (on a 1000 scale) for data submitted for the 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14 academic years.
“Success in the classroom, as well as the field of competition, is paramount in college athletics,” Texas A&M Director of Athletics Eric Hyman said.
