Some of those who attended this week's SEC media days in Hoover, Ala. aren't expecting much out of Texas A&M this year.
The media picked the Aggies to finish fifth in the SEC West, one spot behind Arkansas, according to the preseason poll released on Friday.
Alabama was picked to win the West and defeat Georgia in the SEC Championship game. The Crimson Tide received 217 of the 243 votes to win the SEC championship. South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Arkansas also received one vote each to win the conference.
A&M only fielded three players on the preseason all-conference team.
