Texas A&M sophomore Bianca Fabrizio was named Golfweek’s national college women’s player of the week for April 13-19 after winning the SEC Championship individual title.
The Treviso, Italy native shot three rounds of under-par golf to post an SEC Championship-record 9-under 207. It was her second event win of the year, as she finished two shots ahead of teammate Maddie Szeryk.
Fabrizio helped the Aggies to their first SEC team title, as the Aggies shot an SEC Championship-record 13-under par to win the tournament by 12 strokes. The Aggies were earlier named Golfweek’s national team of the week on April 7.
