Texas A&M's leading scorer from last season will test the NBA draft process.
Sophomore forward Savion Flagg will join the list of early candidates for this year's draft, according to a statement released on his Twitter account.
Flagg will not forfeit his NCAA eligibility unless he keeps his name in the draft after the 4 p.m. deadline on June 10, which comes nearly a month after the draft combine.
"Having the opportunity to continue working towards achieving my goal of becoming an elite NBA player is a blessing," Flagg wrote in his statement.
The 6-7 forward from Alvin was a bright spot for the Aggies last season.
