Report: TCU, ex-Mansfield Timberview guard Alex Robinson headed to Summer League with Sacramento Kings

Former TCU men's basketball guard Alex Robinson will have his shot at the NBA.

Per shamsports.com's Mark Deeks, Robinson is set to join the Sacramento Kings' Summer League after finishing his college career as the Horned Frogs' all-time leader in assists.

Robinson, a D-FW native who starred at Mansfield Timberview High School, spent his freshman year at Texas A&M during the 2014-15 season before transferring to TCU. As a three-year starter for the Horned Frogs, he averaged 11.2 points and 6.3 assists per game over a span of 107 appearances.

Robinson started in all 37 of TCU's games during 2018-19 season en route to finishing his senior year with an average of 12.
