Texas A&M football has wasted no time in taking advantage of the momentum that their recent win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish has yielded.
The Aggies were in some massive recruiting battles over the summer, and while they came out the better in several of them, there were a few where they didn't end up as the top dog. One notable recruitment was that of five-star edge rusher Anthony "Tank" Jones out of Mobile, Alabama.
The race for Jones was thought to be between Alabama and Texas A&M for quite some time, but Oregon— his third finalist— ended up swooping in at the last moment to gain his verbal pledge.
