COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M freshman running back Jay Bradford of Splendora is not part of the Aggies’ 105-man camp roster because of health reasons, according to A&M. The university had previously addressed Bradford’s undisclosed medical condition in July, and his family requested privacy on the matter.
“The health and well-being of Jay is the only thing that matters,” A&M coach Kevin Sumlin said Monday. “He is still part of our team but just unable to participate in preseason drills. Jay and his family know that they can depend on us through this process.”
The Aggies begin camp on Monday night.
