The last time Texas A&M football truly had an explosive offense was probably in the 2016 season, at the very latest. In the days of Trevor Knight, Keith Ford, Trayveon Williams, Josh Reynolds, and Christian Kirk, the Aggies could put some big plays together, as we saw in games like those against Arkansas and Tennessee that year.
Since that point, though, the big play has been hard to come by for the Aggies. We've seen some great defenses and some pretty steady offenses— steady enough to rank as a top-30 unit, statistically speaking— but we haven't seen any offenses that were truly explosive.
