Mike Elko's latest four-star RB flip shows Texas A&M always has a plan

Mike Elko and this Texas A&M staff just pulled off a late flip in this 2026 recruiting cycle, signing four-star running back Carsyn Baker out of Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia. Baker had been committed to the Florida Gators for quite some time, but the Aggies were able to swoop in and snag his commitment over UF, UNC, South Carolina, and Florida State.

This was a needed move for the Aggies after losing four-star running back Jonathan Hatton to Oklahoma not long ago. That flip came about pretty quickly, just like this one— but the Aggies were able to adjust quickly and move in on Baker.
