The SEC is getting ready to move to nine conference games in 2026, which in turn means there will be three teams that every SEC team will play every single season. Even right now, schedules have been pretty consistent in who opponents are, but with the nine-game schedule, there will now be three guaranteed opponents every season.
For Texas A&M, they will get to continue the in-state rivalry with Texas every year, which is something fans would have probably rioted over if they didn't. The Aggies will also have a game against LSU each season, which looks good on paper right now as the Tigers are typically a team that competes year in and year out.
