Texas A&M football has been without starting linebacker Scooby Williams since the close of the first half against Notre Dame in week three. Williams's last play for the Aggies in that game was his interception of a tipped CJ Carr pass that led to a Texas A&M touchdown to take the lead into halftime.
He sustained a lower-body injury on that play and sat out the rest of the game— and though he's been described as "day to day" several times since then, he has yet to get back on the field. Aggie fans have been really pleased with backup linebacker Daymion Sanford's level of play since then, of course, but getting Scooby back has been a priority.
