Texas A&M's defense has been hit or miss through the seven games of the season.
At times, the Aggies (5-2, 3-1 SEC) have been gassed for big plays. But in other instances, A&M has stifled opposing offenses or come away with a timely turnover.
In recent weeks, A&M has done a better job of keeping points off the board. That's been huge in conference play, especially given A&M's occasional offensive lulls.
With all that being said, here's the report card for the defense at the unofficial midway point of the season.
Grade: B+
The skinny: So much for a drop in production after losing two NFL draft picks.
