When Conner Weigman couldn't move the football against LSU, it became apparent that Marcel Reed had to step in and take charge. It's a great thing he did, considering his instant rushing attack led to a complete turnaround and a furious comeback rally in the second half.
Reed has been known for his ability to make plays in the open field with his legs, something Weigman wasn't really great at. Following a disappointing end to the season, questions have been rising about Reed's accuracy. Of course, the Aggies' collapse last season isn't all on Reed, as Scooby Williams was one to take note of his peers not playing efficently on defense.
