Texas A&M fans are hoping to see Marcel Reed make a huge jump from last year to this one, given that the offense in general needs a little more downfield explosion— something which OC Collin Klein seems excited about. That is all incumbent upon Marcel's ability, of course, to take that next step.
The truest testing ground that the Aggie QB will face in the first half of the season is a road game up in South Bend, Indiana, when the Ags take on Notre Dame in week 3. There were quite a few fans of the belief that, had A&M started Reed from the beginning of the season, the Aggies would have defeated ND in week one of 2024, so this will be a great litmus test for just how true that belief is.
