Johnny Manziel and his agent Erik Burkhardt have a complicated history.
Burkhardt first represented Manziel when the quarterback was selected No. 22 overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2014 NFL Draft.
But in 2016, Burkhardt fired the former Aggies star.
"It was the toughest thing I had to do in my career," Burkhardt told John Middlekauff on Fox Sports 1's 'The Herd.'
