How new Texas A&M AD Ross Bjork's biggest strength will fit perfectly in College Station

Ross Bjork was still a few weeks shy of his 33rd birthday when he was hired for one of the most important tasks for one of the nation’s most prominent athletic programs.

In 2005, UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero created a new position for Bjork, one centered on raising millions of dollars for key projects. Five years later, Guerrero told the WKU Herald that hiring Bjork drew some eyebrows around the campus.

“But I knew I had the right person,” Guerrero told the Western Kentucky’s student newspaper in 2010.”

Nearly a decade later, Texas A&M feels the same way.
