It’s been rumored for months that redshirt freshman Haynes King was the favorite to win Texas A&M’s starting gig over redshirt sophomore Zach Calzada. On Wednesday, head coach Jimbo Fisher made it official. King will start in Texas A&M’s season opener against Kent State on Saturday, Sept. 4.
