Texas A&M has won a huge recruiting battle.
Four-star Arlington Lamar defensive tackle Bobby Brown gave the Aggies a verbal commitment on Friday.
He announced his decision via Twitter.
Brown, who is No. 4 on SportsDay's list of top area recruits, committed to Texas A&M over finalists Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma and Texas.
Brown is set to make his official visit to Texas A&M this weekend.
At 6-foot-4, 282 pounds, Brown is ranked as the No. 14 defensive tackle in the country and No. 17 overall prospect in the state, per 247Sports Composite.
