Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight has earned an opportunity to play in the NFL, according to former Texas A&M and NFL quarterback Stephen McGee.
McGee credits Knight for taking over A&M’s offense after transferring from Oklahoma and believes it will prepare him for a professional career. The former Cowboy predicts Knight will either begin his career as a late-round pick or undrafted free agent.
“He’ll have a chance to come in and compete for a third quarterback spot,” McGee said. “He’s a guy that, I know, myself and many Aggies are excited to see get that opportunity, because, by gosh, he’s earned it.
